Online registrations for the 2024 season is NOW OPEN.
Before registering, we ask that you read the following information very carefully. Being a part of Southern Districts United means more than signing up to a football club. There are certain expectations that players and their guardians may need to fulfill throughout the year.
THE FEES:
Juniors: $360
Seniors: $510
Inclusions: These fees are all inclusive. This means you will not need to pay anything further. Players receive shorts, socks, insurance cover, entry to the club's end of year break-up celebration. The cost also covers for referees fees, field maintenance, lighting, replacement of equipment and general maintenance of the club.
The rise in fees is due to the QCSA's decision to rise their fees for the first time in 3 years, in line with inflation. The rise in Senior Fees also covers Seniors' end of season break-up.
Discounts: Family members (parents/guardians & siblings) are entitled to $20 discounts for every subsequent family member that joins up, after the first member registers.
Training Nights: Tuesday at 6PM to 7PM for juniors; 7PM to 8:30PM for seniors.
Games: Friday nights for Over 30s; Saturdays for all other age groups.
When will the season start? The first game will be on the weekend of 13th April. We anticipate that the first training session for juniors will either be the 13th or 20th of February.
Expectations: As a non-profit, volunteer organisation throughout the season players and guardians will be rostered onto certain jobs. These jobs include being present in the canteen during home games, being at a Bunnings BBQ fundraiser, setting up and packing up fields when required. We will ensure that any rostered job guardians are on does not clash with their child's games.
We endeavour to keep these rosters to as few as possible through the season - hence why sharing the load is important. If you are unable to make a rostered appointment, it is your responsibility to contact the organising Committee member to let them know. You will then be shifted onto another date.
Coaches & Managers: As a non-profit club run solely by volunteers, we cannot guarantee that every team will have a coach or manager. More often than not, managers are parents/guardians of players from that particular team. Whilst we make every possible effort to try and fill every team with a coach, please understand that your child's team may need a parent/guardian to step up and take the coaching reigns. In these situations the parent/guardian will be supported by the Club's Football Coordinator as much as possible.
If you are willing and open minded about coaching your child's team please consider doing so.
Age Groups:
Under 6 to 8;
Under 9 to Under 12
Open Women (13 year olds+)
Senior Men
Over 30's Mens

Returning player? Re-register here OR email the club/message the club on Facebook
PLEASE NOTE: Registration of a player does not mean guaranteed allocation into a team. Inability to pay off registration fees, a lack of players in an age group, as well as other matters may affect whether a player's registration is accepted by the SDUFC Committee. Whilst we make every effort to try and fit players into a team, if it cannot be done we will make recommendations of other clubs close by your child can sign on with.
